Why we're running

Help us expand the church — and double your impact

Nampa Gospel Fellowship is growing, and we need more space to welcome our community. The funds from this 5K go directly toward our church expansion. Right now, an anonymous donor has pledged to match every dollar raised up to $500,000. That means a $70 nomination becomes $140 toward the building — but only if we give now.

A view worth running for: The route follows the Peace River and crosses the bridge, so you'll run with the river beside you and take in one of the best views in the valley the whole way.

Nominate

  1. Nominate someoneEnter their name and pay $70 CAD or more. Pick a fun message to send them — and they get a bib number right away, in the same order as everyone else.
  2. They join the leaderboardWe email and text them a link to their spot, tell them who nominated them, and their name appears live.
  3. Top spot does the challengeWhoever is #1 when nominations close has to run the 5K in an inflatable chicken costume.
  4. Escape routeA nominee can pay their exact current total to remove their name — or pass it all to someone else.

Run

  1. Sign up to runAdd your name and email. You get your bib number right away — it's your entry number for check-in on race day.
  2. Get the race day rundownRight after you sign up (or accept a nomination) you get a page with everything you need to know: schedule, check-in, what to bring and parking.
  3. All ages and paces welcomeRunners, joggers, and walkers are all invited. Kids, seniors, strollers, and everyone in between — come as you are.
  4. Sign the waiverRead and accept the event waiver online. We record your name and the time you agreed.
  5. Show up on race dayWear your bib, join the community, and help us raise money for the church expansion.
  6. Bring a friendInvite others to run or nominate someone. The more people involved, the bigger the impact.
